How to choose a pet carrier?

The size of the pet bag should be just right for your cat, and the pet should be able to stand, turn and sit in the bag, but not so big that it can slide freely. Cats should feel safe and comfortable in the pet bag, and avoid using soft cat bags that are easy to collapse. The pet bag must be strong and strong, and easy for you to put the cat in and out.

1. The size should be appropriate.
The pet bag should be just the right size for your cat. Can stand, turn around, and sit down in the pet bag, but don’t make the box too big and let the cat slide freely in it. Cats prefer to lean against the sides of the bag. This will give them a sense of control over their body position. Small boxes are fine for kittens, but your cat will quickly outgrow the box. So it is best to buy a medium-sized box, put a small cardboard box inside, and put newspapers or towels on it until the kitten grows to the size of a medium-sized box.

2. Safety and comfort
Your cat should feel safe and comfortable in the box. Choose a hard cat bag. A soft cat bag that is easy to collapse is terrible for cats. Every time the cat bag was lowered, the inside walls and top of the bag would start to collapse inwards, drooping on the poor, motionless cat. Therefore, avoid soft cat bags that tend to collapse.

3. Sturdy and load-bearing
Pet bags must be strong and durable. Check all hinges, hooks and handles to make sure all fixtures can safely hold twice the cat’s weight. Test the opening and closing before buying, put a few books in it, and shake it back and forth.

4. Easy to put in and take out
The pet bag must be convenient for you to put the cat in or take it out. Choose a cat bag that opens upwards, allowing you to put the cat in from the top, rather than a bag that allows you to push the cat through a narrow door.
